Niche website marketing
I am just 2 weeks into a new strategy for success and that is the abovementioned niche marketing. What's that? Well, I joined a company called Wealthy Affiliate. It is a free program but I soon upgraded to Premium because I believe in it. I have learned so much in the past 2 weeks that I can't believe it. I have selected a niche (Lose Belly Fat in just 10 minutes a day, have a look at it!) and have started populating it with true content. Then I became approved as an Amazon affiliate plus a couple of other affiliate programs that have to do with health & fitness. I am also still promoting SFI and TripleClicks, as long as I have them. And now I am writing posts and adding advertisements and text links for Amazon and the other Affiliate programs.
So what is the difference with before? I already had a blog on Health & Fitness and one on Travel, why would I need another one? Because I now have access to a plethora of training about websites and SEO and how to optimize my website, and I have access to a program that does research for me on the best keywords to use, which is the ones with many "hits" (many people that search for that particular keyword) and not too much competition. I make long lists of keywords that are good and these I now incorporate into older posts as well as use them for new posts. I also have Google Analytics for my website so I can see what's happening and where I am being succesful. This is making it possible for me to optimize my older blogs as well so I 'll get more traffic.
Just like SFI it is not a Get Rich Quick scheme. You will have to do a lot of work to make it succeed. But it is so much fun and I am totally excited about it. It will take some time for the money to come rolling in, but I plan on making more niche websites. Hopefully at some point I'll be able to ditch the boss and go fulltime! For some people finding a niche is difficult, but you can write about anything you are interested in, whether you're an expert or not. I have for instance for my Lose Belly Fat website researched whether the time of day makes a difference for your training (it does) and have on my list, among others, to research cramps and stitches and what your genes have to say about your athletic abilities. Currently I am spending all my free time on adding Amazon ads and text links to my older blog posts.

How to market your affiliate program by using free advertising
Once you have actually joined an affiliate program such as SFI (you may have others that you want to promote), how do you get people to join? That is called referrals. There are a number of websites where you can advertise for free. These often have even referral possibility themselves, so you are not only promoting your own business but if you get referrals to that website you earn money or credtis which you can use for advertising. So how does this work? Simple. You receive emails with banners and text ads from other members, and when you click on them you receive credits. These you can use to place ads yourself. Other members will read your ad because they receive credits for reading it. And since they are looking for online business opportunities, there is a good chance that they will nap.
Here is a list with websites (yes I am giving this to you for free, as a thank-you for reading this blog):

Making money from home selling online: how I sell TC products
It is not easy making money online. However it is possible and here I would like to tell you how I do it. I am not making a fortune yet, but I am selling, and you can too!
It works like this.
I have a website which is only about one method of selling online and that is SFI, where I have been an affiliate for 2 years now. The website is this: http://topcat.sfiprofitsnetwork.com/ This website is particularly aimed (like this blog) at people who are interested in selling online and/or working from home. Rather than just having the website and waiting for people to stumble over it I buy traffic. There are many ECA's (companies selling their products at TripleClicks) that sell traffic.
tripleclicks.com

Online Business Seekers - 2,500+ Traffic hits to your link, site, blog...— €10.92 (Save 35%!)
It does not cost very much, I often use the points that I automatically gather by being active on the website so it is not costing me any cash. I generally get 5-10 signups per 1000 visitors. That may not seem like much, but if they turn out to be active I do not need more. Unfortunately most people that sign up are inactive or turn inactive after a short while when it turns out it is not a Get Rich Quick Scheme but a genuine business. However in this way I have gathered a team of about 300 people by now. Getting team members that are selling TripleClicks products is one way of getting income, because I get commission on what they sell. Again, not much, but it adds up.

Then I have another source of income: direct commission. For this I have 2 other blogs: topcat2015.blogspot.se, and topcat66blog.wordpress.com. On the first one I write about health & fitness and the other one is a travel blog. Alongside the posts I have clickable banners for TC products that are relevant to the subject and that I like.
tripleclicks.com
I even write product reviews of TC products which I have bought myself. This is an effective way of promoting the products and I get a significant part of my online income from this way of selling. So what are you waiting for? Sign up for free and join me!

FOR NEW AFFILIATES!
Hi!
Welcome to my blog. If you are here and you are NOT a new affiliate, that is just fine if you think it is interesting. But chances are you are a new affiliate.
SFI is overwhelming at first and now everybody is buzzing about the exciting new Opti-Build and the Builder Bundle. Where to start?
My advice: start with reading all your Launchpad lessons. They are designed to help you get an overview. Do this BEFORE you ask questions at the Forum (it is really annoying all those newbies asking for help before they have looked at the available help.)
There is no requirement for any investment and I would definitely first look around at what's happening. However, this is your new business, not a Get Rich Quick scheme, and what would you do if you were starting any other new business? You would think about having a budget, right? You can build a business without investing money but then you will have to invest a lot of time and effort to compensate.
First of all, you have to decide to take this seriously. If you do not want to try it out for at least a year, don't even start.
There are 6 ways to make money at SFI, but the main thing is very basic: sell TripleClicks products, get a team under you to sell TripleClicks products, and get businesses to sell their products at TripleClicks. However, my main commissions actually come from my team; when they earn VP I earn matching VP; when they buy or sell I get commission. So building a team is very important.

It is not a disaster if on some days you cannot log in. But would you leave your store closed if you had one just because you had a headache or "no time"? Of course not. You would be there every day and do everything to get customers. By not logging in you just lose your streak (who cares anyway) and the opportunity to earn about 13 free VPs per day (which is money). So make it a habit to log in every day. Turning all the tabs green costs around 10 minutes.
And VPs are what it is all about; they determine your rank and with that, your income opportunities. You do not need to get a rank to make money. There are plenty of people who are good at selling and who make a good income just as a plain affiliate. But there are perks to being higher up in rank, such as free TCredits and new team members.
I personally have a Standing Order for 125 TCredits, which allow me to bid at the auctions, which has gained me new team members, and which you can use for countless other things such as selling your secondhand stuff and playing the games. This automatically makes me an EA so I keep all the new team members I get. If you lose your EA status you lose your team. By now my team is about 450 large.
Most months I invest in traffic to this blog or my website. This blog is my main source of new sign-ups. This earns me VPs. 1500 extra VPS earn me the rank of Bronze Team leader, which gives me 10 new CSAs and some other perks.

Don't forget that you can also buy TripleClicks products with MRP or TCredits, however you do not get the VPs then. There is one very important exception though which has saved my rank many times: you can buy single TCredits for 120 MRPs and then you receive 106 VPs for each. I bought 8 TCredits last week to get enough Versapoints to get BTL status.
I didn't earn any commissions before I was at SFI for a year, but since then, it is increasing every month.
To make a long story short: first determine if you want to try this for a year. The next step is reading your Launchpad lessons anf give yourself time to find out how everything works and what works for you. Log in every day. In time you will discover all the different things SFI offers to help you build your business.

New Year's resolution: what am I going to do to be more successful selling online
Happy New Year! May 2017 be your best year yet!
I generally do not make New Year's resolutions. If I decide I need to change something in my life, I do it on the spot. Why wait till next Monday, or next Year, to start doing something that will improve your life? Because generally you make resolutions because you want to improve your well-being and happiness, right? Even if it is in the long run.
But I have first made a review of what I have done so far in this business enterprise, because that is what it is, and come to the conclusion that it is not growing very fast because I am simply not doing very much. One of the problems I have, which I think most people will recognize, is that I am spreading myself too thin. I have my work, I have my family, I have SFI, and I have a lot of small and big things that I need to spend time on, and then there are the things that I feel I must do and do not get around to, such as applying for a better job, doing research for my-to-start-new-company, trying to find an agent for my book (I wrote a thriller, in English, but haven't found anyone who wants to publish it yet, whereas there is so much junk being published, it is unfair), writing more often, and selling my second-hand stuff. I just do not find the time.

So in order to improve my business here are my resolutions, for better or for worse (seven is my lucky number, so maybe it will help) :
- Make my book an e-book and sell it via SFI (yes, I can do that);
- Finding new ECA prospects online in Sweden;
- Making good marketing materials for said prospects;
- Finding a couple of hours a week to just sit and advertise;
- Invest in building out my team by buying traffic, by bidding more on auctions (I actually bid seriously on 5 auctions this week; 2 were over before my program kicked in, two I lost, but I also won one auction: 10 new affiliates) instead of hoarding my TCredits (which expire after a year anyway);
- Finding someone back home to search for ECAs there (more mom & pop stores than in Sweden);
- Find some good products to start selling via SFI, in other words, becoming an ECA myself.

About patience, perseverance and earning commissions selling online successfully
I just needed to post this because I have just received my October commissions. Yes, the money that I earned. Maybe it will help you who reads this.
I have tried out a number of online programs and never before had any success with it. When I started at SFI I decided to give it a year, since I actually read all the training and instructions which you get for free and quickly learned it was not a Get Rich Quick Scheme.
After a year I had made about as much money as two months' worth of standing order, I had reinvested whatever I earned in the business and I was on the verge of giving up. However I decided I had not tried all possible approaches and I was receiving a steady stream of signups from this blog that you are reading now. So I decided to give it another year. And lo and behold! In the exact month that I was 1 year at SFI I got this fantastic email: "Your commissions over the month August". For the first time I had actually made and received money.
Since then I have received such an email EVERY MONTH and the amount is higher every month. Seriously, do you think I am giving up now? Of course not.
If you are thinking of signing up, do me a favor and give it at least a year. If you do not have half an hour a day to put into your new business don't even start. Yes, I know, signing up is free and so it never hurts. But do take it seriously if you do it at all.

Successful online marketing: the power of duplication
Hi!
As I mentioned in an earlier post, the crux of the matter in online selling is of course selling products. The point is, not everyone is good at that. Personally I am not very good at it and I know it. But there is another solution and this is where I have found SFI to be very helpful. As an affiliate I can gather a team under me, and when they are selling products, I earn a small share of the profit. As a matter of fact when I did an analysis not so long ago of where I make the most money it is actually from commissions that my team is earning. I have tried advertising and though I have compiled a list of free advertising sites that work, it is not my main income.
My team currently consists of almost 300 PSAs and CSAs (Personally Sponsored Affiliates and Co-sponsored affiliates). I have about twice as many CSAs as PSAs, which makes the revenue from both roughly equal because I get a smaller share of the CSA commissions. So how do you get a team?
1. I have obtained a number through personal recruitment: sometimes I go to the local job center and hand out folders; people coming there are usually looking for a job. This gives me around 10 interested prospects per invested hour and only costs time.
2. Then I get new signups from this blog and a website I have about SFI. Apart from "normal" traffic I now and then buy traffic from one of the E-commerce Associates at TripleClicks. I can even use my TCredits and Member Reward Points (these I gather by being active on the website, so basically this means I can buy free traffic) to buy traffic. If I buy traffic outright I earn Versapoints. If I use TCredits or MRPs I don't.
3. You can actually buy signups at TripleClicks, these are obtained through SFI's own advertisements, but there are also a number of ECAs that obtain and sell their own signups through advertising. The cost of these is generally between $1 and $2.50 per signup. But since the chance that they are actually active is not so great, I find it more cost-effective to buy traffic. Over the past year the cost per new signup on average has been around 40 cents for me.
4. Many people obtain new affiliates through the social media. I am not at all good at that, but others are. Especially on Facebook, I understand. Some also involve their family and friends. This is actually a good strategy as there is a greater chance that they will be active.

5. A good strategy is to win PSAs and CSAs at auctions. You need to have the time to sit and observe the auctions. I know one in my upline who regularly wins new affiliates this way (apart from laptops and other gadgets).
5. There is a traffic exchange that I use on which I advertise for free. I have to watch ads for 15 seconds and then I get credits. Once I have enough credits I can place an advertisement myself. The disadvantage is that most people do like me: they only watch the banners to get credits. However, they are obviously interested in making money online, and since the program is free, they might give it a try. This Traffic Exchange gives me the occasional signup.
6. And then there is the obvious other possibility: advertising, on websites as well as on Google communities, in your local supermarket and gym and anywhere there is a bulletin board. And advertising on TV, radio, in papers etc.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, the crux of the matter in online selling is of course selling products. The point is, not everyone is good at that. Personally I am not very good at it and I know it. But there is another solution and this is where I have found SFI to be very helpful.

Making money by working from home: the power of advertising
The single way the big earners at SFI make money ( I know this from the forum, where all kinds of topics are discussed, particularly how to increase sales and make more money) is ADVERTISING. Having said that, how do you advertise and particularly, where?
Everyone has their own favorites. One of my upline works with Autoresponders.This is a system in which you set up a landing page offering something for free. The visitor has to fill in an email address in order to receive this. The Autoresponder then sends a number of emails/letters which you have prepared yourself to this email address, I think it can be up to 25, and of course offers the information about whatever aspect of SFI you want to promote. Research has shown that a person on average has to see a message 7 times before reacting to it.
Many work with the social media. For this, you have to be active in the social media and have a rapport with your followers. You recommend something and they might buy it. This involves your "warm market" or the people that you already know. It does not work for me because I am not in the least active in the social media normally. SFI has many free banners available that you can use in the social media such as these:
Join me, Tamara Croes, and I'll personally help you build a second income with top rated SFI—now in its 18th year! Click here to join my team and get started FREE today!
What I do work with if I have the time is free advertising websites. There are many of these. You can google "free advertising" or do as I did, bought a list of free advertising websites. It cost me nothing because I used the Member Reward Points that I automatically collect when I do my daily activities on the website. I have even used these to buy physical products which I then review on my blog about health and fitness, TopCat's TopFit , and promote if they are good.
I have been going through the list that I have and only a few % are really active and usable. If you would become a member of my team by joining SFI for free, I will share this whittled-down active list with you; most people would be willing to pay for such a list. Most sites carry advertisements for a month and then you have to renew them. But all are for free, so if you have no reactions it has only cost you a little time. Do remember to use Key Track Codes so you know which of your advertisements is successful. There is a feature for that on the SFI website. No other program offers so many free training and marketing tools. At least not that I have seen.
Then there is real life advertising: in magazines, radio, tv; these generally cost. What I find useful is hanging up brochures in gyms, at supermarkets and other public areas where it is allowed.
SFI has many printable brochures for products (the website even generates these for you); example:
tripleclicks.com
This is the banner, but the website can generate a printable flyer as well. SFI has more than 10,000 products to choose from in all possible categories, so there will always be something of interest to whatever place you think of advertising. Then there are splash pages and e-cards and car magnets.
Good luck!

What I haven't tried yet but am going to, is concentrating on the garage sale that TripleClicks is running. I and every other affiliate can freely advertise our secondhand stuff. This would be interesting to people holding garage sales and people selling secondhand stuff, right?
So if you have a local advertising site in say, Newby, Oklahoma you can look for the garage sale department if there is one. Once people are online to sell, they will have a look at the other stuff SFI and TripleClicks are offering and maybe become interested in the auctions, the games or selling TC products.Good luck!

Selling online: where I get most of my commissions from
I've been on vacation for a while, but now I am back on track and thought I would find out and write a post on how I earn my commissions. I have been doing this for almost a year now and I have tried out all the different ways of earning money with SFI and here is how I get most of my earnings (and believe me, it is not as all as I expected :)):
1. The TripleClicks Executive Pool, strange enough. This I only receive in those months that I make Team Leader, which again is coupled to how many VPs I have made, which is coupled to all activities that I do at SFI. The amount of VPs I have determines how much I earn of this pool. Since I have a standing order (SO) which automatically makes me EA I earn 1500 VP at least and then about 360 from doing my dailies; if I decide to make Bronze Team Leader (for various perks such as extra CSAs added to my team) I often buy traffic to this blog and my website, so then I come up to 3000 VP a month. How much this amounts to in cash depends on the size of the pool and the number of VPs we altogether have as affiliates.
2. CSAs commissions; or indirect commissions. These come from activities/sales made by my CSAs (co-sponsored affiliates; I am not their main sponsor). Incredible that this is my second largest source of income.
3. Milestone Shares: this is a bonus program in which I receive extra shares from the TripleClicks Executive Pool coupled to the amount of VPs I earn. I only receive these when I make Team Leader. In order to make Team Leader in a month, I need to make 3000 VPs and sponsor at least 5 affiliates (I have about 400 so that is no problem).
4. Direct commissions: this is from sales at TripleClicks. As for income, this actually comes only in the 4th place! I do hope that I will be able to increase this though, by selling more. I am particularly keen on selling the PrivacyMaxx program, because of the commission volume and the chance that it will be a repeat order after 1/2/3 years.
I have had no income yet from:
- ECA referral, although I now have a number of PRMs (personally referred members) of which I hope some will become active ECAs. If they start selling, I start earning.
- PSA activity, meaning my direct sponsored affiliates; none of the 25 I have are active. These are therefore people that sign up thinking they have found a get-rich-quick scheme, look around a bit and then lose interest. If you plan on signing up, give it at least a year!
- The Pay per Action program; this means that you earn up to $10 if you can come up with signups that are active. However I have looked at the rules for this and decided I would rather keep them to myself if they are active, because that will potentially give me more income.

Best online selling sites: what is working for me (and what not) my top-7
I have tried most marketing methods for selling online and I have also talked with other affiliates who are successful at this. As you see I have become an Amazon affiliate (at a much later time then when I posted this blog) and am selling their products as well:
I am new at this so I can't say whether it will work but I have high hopes.
According to most affiliates:
1. ADVERTISING is the key. In order to make money you have to advertise at least one hour every day. Personally I have spent a full week advertising like crazy and had not a single response. But I might have been doing it wrong. So I bought, with my Member Reward Points, so not investing any cash, a list of 2000 free advertising websites and 250 Google communities. When I tried out the list, out of the first 250 only 12 were actually functional free advertising sites, and most of them were specific for India. However I have to take the time to go through the rest of the list. A list of real, functional free ad websites is worth quite a lot, don't you think? Now to find the time to sit down and really advertise - for that is what I must do and am not doing. Update June 3rd: I have now gone through 500 of the list and actually advertised on 6 sites. What can you advertise for? For new affiliates and people who want to sell online. But also TripleClicks products. Literally anything. Books, gardening items, jewelry, fitness things, handbags, watches, kitchen utensils. Example:
tripleclicks.com
2. BUYING TRAFFIC. This works for me. I have invested $12 in a couple of thousand visitors, and the first 500 have already arrived the week I published this. My SFI blog now has more than 3000 pageviews, up from 100+. Better yet, I am receiving signups out of these: affiliates and PRMs. So this works. I am certainly going to do this again. Update April 17th, 2017: definitely the best go. Works fantastically for me. I have just this month added around 50 PSAs and 25 PRMs to my list.
3. BLOGGING. This blog and 2 others I have (topcat2015.blogspot.se and topcat66blog@wordpress.com) attract visitors and now and then a signup. The important thing is to have regular new good content, which is not always easy. I feel I have to tell the truth about how things are going for me and then it will attract people. It seems to work. This blog generates the most signups so far. I also have a website topcat.sfiprofitsnetwork.com which attracts some visitors by itself and I sometimes buy traffic for it.
4. PERSONAL RECRUITING. I have gone to the local government job market and grabbed everyone who came out, started a talk with them about online marketing and working from home. I have gotten a couple of PSAs (Personally Sponsored Affiliates, the people that fall under you in your team) that way. Unfortunately none of them has remained active because this is not a Get Rich Quick Scheme, which is what they were looking for; or maybe they just wanted a regular job.
5. FACEBOOK and other social media. According to most affiliates this works best. Not for me, but then, I am not at all adept at social media. I never post on FB except with SFI promotion. Same for Twitter. On LinkedIn I have put links to my blogs on my profile. I have no others. I have gotten some visitors to my blogs out of it, though.
6. APPROACHING PROSPECT ECAs. Personally stepping into a business and convincing people that they can sell online is something I sincerely believe must work. However I have not been lucky at it. I have approached the Chamber of Commerce in my home country and the Association for Small Businesses where I used to be secretary. They thought it was a marvelous idea for their members, but I have not had a single signup after that. I am pretty sure that the key problem here is follow-up; although I have emailed them once afterwards, research shows that people have to be exposed to a good offer 7 times on the average before they make the decision. Here is where autoresponders come in. I haven't quite figured it out yet, how to make that work, but they basically send the e-mails for you automatically. You do have to write them, of course, but only once.
I also visited about 35 businesses and had a few who were interested, but again, no signups. I did not follow up here either. It is on my To-Do list.
7. DUPLICATION. Apart from personally recruiting affiliates you can also buy them or earn them or win them in auctions-last week I won 25 PSAs for just $0.36 and 4 bids. My sponsor put me under her S-Coop Builder (an advertising scheme) and I generally receive a couple of PSAs a month from that. I also lose a couple of PSAs/CSAs every month due to inactivity (no great loss there, they are only clogging up my list). My team is growing steadily; I now have 96 PSAs and 140 CSAs. Currently, 1 PSA is active and 8 CSAs. Last month I received commission on my CSAs for the first time. So that is also working, albeit slowly.

Earn money working from home: other websites that DO work for you (other than SFI)
Right now I have my focus on SFI as you can clearly see from this blog. I believe it is going to make me a nice lifelong income. Right now I am earning some money with it, but not big money. I believe that in order to build up an honest business you usually have to invest a lot of time and effort in it. I have had my own business built up from scratch before, and that is the honest truth for most of us normal people. There are some lucky souls (or maybe they are just so incredibly good) that skyrocket immediately with their newfound businesses, and all luck to them. For most of us it takes longer.
However, before joining SFI I have tried out other businesses, and although I tried two systems that were kind of built up in the same way, as in focusing on both selling products and building up a team under you that does the same, they did not work for me. One of these was a Greens liquid thing in which you had to buy like $120 every month in "healthy" products yourself and try to find other people under you to do the same (with a large upfront investment of I think around $1200 at the time), and the other one was ItWorks! Wraps. I know there are people out there making lots of money with it, but I lost a lot of money with it and the wonderful wraps never worked on me or any other test subject so I am still stuck with like a dozen of them, and to keep up your distributorship you need to invest quite a lot in the beginning for the Newbie Package and then for the maintenance of your website and distributorship it was also a lot of money every month which you have to compensate with sales (which I never did).
Then there is Wealthy Affiliate, which I just recently joined and which is something which will take time to build up, so I can't say much about it yet but I am very positive that it will work.
But there are two websites out there that actually did work in a way, and are still providing me with job opportunities. One is completely free and is actually a social media: LinkedIn. I have had several job opportunities via my contacts. I keep this one "holy" and only for serious stuff. It is only today that I have added two of my blogs to my profile (my Health & Fitness blog: topcat2015.blogspot.se and my travel blog: topcat66blog.wordpress.com).
The other one is a paid one but it is for once worth its pay and it is called People Per Hour. (peopleperhour.com) If you are able to freelance in absolutely anything, DO pay the one-time fee, I think it was $29, and you will actually have job offers all the time. They are also quite serious about feedback and status in the sense of how good you have performed for customers. Via them, I found a company that I do freelance translations for and we have a long-standing relationship of at least 5 years now in which I have translated hundreds of documents for them. And they pay promptly on the 1st of each month. I still get offered either long-time or one-time translation work from other companies on my email via this site though I have not even visited it in 3 years. Since I am working full-time at the moment I cannot take these but it is telling that they regularly ask. There is another (paid) website called freelancer.com, which also works like this, but they take in general much lower rates for everything.
There is another site called FiveRR, where people offer their (oftenonline) skills for sale for $5, which I have not visited yet but I have heard really good things about it. There are reviews and rankings of the persons offering their skills. I don't think you need to pay to join. If you are able to provide, for instance, "likes" to somebody's Facebook site, or visitors, or are able to answer for a small company's Facebook site (post likes and so on) you might be in business.
I have just joined a site called Paidsocialmediajobs where you apparently can obtain jobs like that, both regular jobs and one-time projects. I have not had the time yet to truly look at it but I will certainly post an update here when I have or when I have found something else that works. There are lots of yous out there that, like me, are looking for opportunities to make money and I think we should help each other when we can.
